Cariboo Festival Speech Arts
We have many students performing at Speech Arts in Williams Lake on April 19th. We will send out the schedule and a permission slip soon. Everyone is welcome to attend to enjoy the performances, however, you will only be able to come and go from the theatre at specific times so arrive early for the performance(s) you wish to attend. They also request that this be a scent free venue. Young children are welcome but may only stay if they can sit quietly for extended periods of time. We are very proud of all of our performers and wish them good luck.
On Friday, April 21st, we will be celebrating Earth Day. After lunch, students will participate in a clean-up in and around the school and hall. Students should wear old clothes and bring gloves for this event. Parents are welcome to join us as we clean up our environment.
For the third year in a row, we have organized a community clean-up to coincide with Earth Day. On Sunday, April 23rd at 1 pm, we invite the whole community to join us at the Heritage Site as we disburse into our community cleaning up the roadsides (garbage bags & gloves will be provided.) Following the clean-up we will again meet at the Heritage site for a celebration BBQ and refreshments.
The next PAC meeting is April 12th at 6 pm. All parents are encouraged to attend! Our PAC is a huge part of our support system here at school and as always – “many hands make light work!”
